T-ara's former hairstylist Kim Woo Ri spilled some tea on 'Heard it Through the Grapevine', which led to an angry Instagram post by Hwayoung. Kim Woo Ri has since stated the fault was in the show's editing, and he understands why Hwayoung responded angrily. It's currently being alleged that Hwayoung would talk down to hair and makeup staff, which she and her agency are denying.

On March 14, label Imagine Asia stated, "After speaking with Hwayoung, she's said she's never called hairstylists 'Hey, shampoo.' During her time as a part of T-ara, she may have said 'Unni, shampoo me' with aegyo, but she's never called staff 'Hey, shampoo.'"

However, Dispatch has now released an interview with two former T-ara staff, A and B, who were reportedly part of the girl group's hair and makeup team. On the 'Hey, shampoo' controversy, A said, "It's true she talked down to hair staff and called them 'Shampoo.' Normally, they'd call us unni, but Hwayoung called us 'Shampoo.' She'd also tell us about her complaints directly. She'd say outright, 'You really ****ing can't do hair.' That kind of way. If we made a mistake doing her makeup, she'd explode with a complaint like, 'Ah, you ****ing can't draw eyeliner.'"

B stated the insults were hard to take, and she once handed in her resignation because of the stress. B commented, "I think she looks down on our profession. I couldn't handle it anymore, so I threw out my resignation. She likes to shame people in front of others. Of course, staff wouldn't like it. It's not because of a bad mood. She's the style to pick a target and make them feel severely insulted."

The two concluded, "What the T-ara staff said doesn't make sense. At the time, Hwayoung was part of T-ara. We were Hwayoung's staff as well." They also claimed they were not telling lies.

In addition, A and B shared the photos below of who they claim to be Hwayoung during the time she reportedly injured her leg. Previous reports have alleged Hwayoung may have faked her injury and worn a cast unnecessarily.
