In a recent interview, YG Entertainment's main producer Yang Hyun Suk addresses fans' complaints that WINNER and iKON never promote.

Yang Hyun Suk said, "You may not see them much in Korea, but iKON has become veterans in performing after building up their experiences through a 6-month-long Japanese tour, much like Big Bang. In WINNER's case, they suffered the misfotune of losing a member. But WINNER has numerous songs that they've been working on since last year, and iKON has also created some good songs during their tour. The shed is stacked high with rice, so now, there's only the dilemma of cooking good rice to be able to gift the fans. That's why I'm not in a rush."

He also added, "The groups we will be focussing on this year are WINNER and iKON. Before the end of March, you'll be able to hear new releases from the two teams."

How does that sound, Inner Circle and iKONIC?

2 months of waiting for a comeback in YG language means 2 years.

YG's mindset is pure crap. We're not in the late 2000s where the competition was pretty mild and it took half-assed promotions in order to reach the top. The competition these days is fucking scary, both for boy and girl groups. If he takes in as much effort into promoting iKON and Winner just as how he promotes Blackpink in their own country first, they wouldn't be flopping for big company groups. Such a shame they have a pretty biased boss who mostly cares for the new girl group (not attacking BP, just as reference) and gives them mostly side work to do. Must be frustrating to be a YG artist if you aren't the main source of income for the company. Coming from an ARMY, Once and NCT fan. Inner Circles & iKONICS, stay strong.

Aigoo......Ikonics and Inner circles find strength. YG is about to do you dirty

but YG, i thought you should be the rice cooker?he didn't rly answer anything. bigbang doesn't release often too but we always get something in between, whether it's solo or unit. why don't we have half as many, if winner have a stack in their shed?

yg is not fair, ikon got more mv than WINNER. i looked up wikipedia and saw dat WINNER ikon will promote on the same month like theyre going to compete like WIN again? it shud be yg against other artists, not among themselves.

At least sm gives their artist comebacks whether it flops or not. YG must belive releasing an album very 2 years is cold promoting. 😐😐😥

I agree, many SM songs flopped last year but people still bought the albums and streamed the songs

I have a feeling SM purposely gave their artists shit songs and even shittier outfits/hairs for some reason. It's unlike SM to allow their stylists to dress their artists' hideously or not be able to produce an incredible hit.

we need a winner comeback SOON not 10000000years later .. promote them well YG !!!

mind_blown Friday, January 20, 2017

So basically from what I'm observing if its not Big Bang he wont bother much.

reallook7 Friday, January 20, 2017

The problem is quite simple, without promoting WINNER can enter the basement of YG this year and in 2018 it disband!  IKON will be forgotten because of other big-growth groups like BTS, SEVENTEEN and GOT7!
