Park Ha Sun appeared on tvN's '48 hours' on January 11, where she left for a vacation in Taiwan with 24 hours left.

In the first 24 hours, she had met up with a friend and a teacher from school. She said, "Since I met up with different people, then the remaining 24 hours will be time spent just on me.  I wanted to go on a vacation by myself," revealing she wanted to go to Taiwan and eat.

She visited a tall building in Taiwan then went to a famous restaurant.  She had a hard time finding it but afterwards, she said, "I heard that even someone who ate here and died still likes it here," causing laughter.

In the following interview, she said, "I can't eat much when I'm working on a drama.  I gain weight even by drinking water.  Because I have a grievance like that, I went [to the restaurant] to resolve that grievance."

Muziklover18 moon_luv Thursday, January 12, 2017

omg LOL

i cant believe people actually think that she really meant that she gains weight from drinking water

booitsjwu Thursday, January 12, 2017

That is a common saying in Korea. It just means they gain weight really easily not that they literally gain weight from drinking water...

Adriel_YG_stan Thursday, January 12, 2017

She got to be kidding me, water has 0 calorie so how come she gained weight?

PiisGood31415 Adriel_YG_stan Thursday, January 12, 2017

16 fluid oz water = approximately 1 lb of weight. Stop acting like she's the dumb one...

Adriel_YG_stan PiisGood31415 Saturday, January 14, 2017

She IS DUMB, you don't need to cover for her. You act like one too. You converted the FL oz (vol) to lb (mass) NOT the CALORIES intake of the body. Technically water doesn't gain her weight. Better study or search it well. You see, better study what will happen to your body if you drink water.

PiisGood31415 Adriel_YG_stan Saturday, January 14, 2017

No, no, NO! There ARE 16 fluid oz in 1.04 pounds (of water). The pound unit is confusing, as it it both a unit of weight if it's pound-force and a unit of mass if it's pound-mass (lbf and lbm). lb or lbs (pound or pounds) refers to a unit of weight, not mass. So yes, everyone gains weight when they drink water. This is temporary, and she most likely 'has' water retention (retains water). There are multiple causes for it, and hers is most likely because of lack of exercise, vitamin deficiencies, and/or hormonal fluctuations. I have studied and 'searched it well'. Have you ever taken a biology, chemistry, or physics class? You sound to young to be on the internet.

Adriel_YG_stan PiisGood31415 Sunday, January 15, 2017

Oh my, you haven't search it well and it shows it all. I'm a medical student and mind you, you don't need to study physics to know that water makes you fat. DO NOT USE YOUR OWN KNOWLEDGE, for you to understand it well let Google help you more by searching does drinking water make you fat. Since you have no knowledge about calories.

PiisGood31415 Adriel_YG_stan Monday, January 16, 2017

First of all, anyone can say anything on the internet - you may or may not be lying. Second, I never said anything about water making you fat. However, if your body is dehydrated, it will hold onto some of the water, making you appear 'bloated'. The benefits of drinking water obviously far outweigh being temporarily bloated, and if you drink enough of it, it shouldn't be too obvious. I think that Park Ha-sun was basically saying that water made her bloated. So in conclusion, she probably needs to drink more water, and stop caring about a minuscule amount of weight (but what she says on TV is her decision). End of conversation, maybe?

That's not gaining weight you airhead that's bloating. Jesus now we're going to have a bunch of Korean teenagers dropping dead from dehydration thanks to you.

PiisGood31415 pink_oracle Thursday, January 12, 2017

Dude, calm down. It's an expression.

pink_oracle PiisGood31415 Thursday, January 12, 2017

In a country where idols tell impressionable youths that they skip 2 meals a day it's not a responsible expression to use.

hiroonakamura Thursday, January 12, 2017

lol, gaining weight from water...does any korean celeb know how dieting and your body weight actually works? you dont gain weight from just drinking water ffs lol. Not enough to notice at least

PiisGood31415 hiroonakamura Thursday, January 12, 2017

First off, it's an expression. Second of all, it can sometimes be noticeable. For example, most celebs drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. 64 fluid oz of liquid = approximately 4 lbs of weight. Please stop acting like she is the ignorant one.

bangeryun94 PiisGood31415 Friday, January 13, 2017

No, it's not an expression

hiroonakamura PiisGood31415 Friday, January 13, 2017

no you are absolutely wrong. you why? because most of that water will be pissed out by the body together with toxic fluids and other waste elements that the body wants to get rid of. You really think that all the water you drink just stays in your body? lol

PiisGood31415 hiroonakamura Friday, January 13, 2017

No, I don't think that all the water you drink stays in your body. That's just stupid. However, a large amount of water is retained in your body depending on many different factors, mainly the amount of carbohydrates and sodium you store. This is temporary, and it is possible to lose water weight fairly quickly, but it still makes a noticeable difference. An obese person can retain up to 40kg of water. Also, do everyone a favor and pay attention to your punctuation.

bangeryun94 PiisGood31415 Friday, January 13, 2017

Do everyone a favour and stay on the forums

hiroonakamura PiisGood31415 Saturday, January 14, 2017

my punctuation was superb though? unlike your claims that an obese person can retain 40 kg of the water they drink...

Humanoids Thursday, January 12, 2017

the poor girl have some mental health issues...

Layni_Tsuki Humanoids Thursday, January 12, 2017

It's a saying in Korea, meaning you gain weight easily...It was translated top literally into English.

Nadjeortez Thursday, January 12, 2017

Gain weight from drinking she carries water weight then?

PiisGood31415 Nadjeortez Thursday, January 12, 2017

Yes, and water retention. Everyone gains weight temporarily if they drink water. Ingesting something with a weight (water) = gaining weight.
