On the December 19 airing of SBS's 'Cultwo Show,' Thunder appeared and was asked by a listener whether his sister, Dara, was doing well.

He replied, "She's doing really well. She has a lot of promotions overseas." He also talked about releasing his first solo album: "I can't say there was nothing awkward [about promoting alone for the first time]. Although I debuted seven years ago and promoted in MBLAQ, there were many awkward aspects about doing it alone. It was comfortable promoting with multiple members, but I was nervous standing on stage alone. It's nice I have more parts because it's my solo song, but I do feel like I don't have the stamina for it."
