BTS' V has revealed his reason for being down lately.

BTS had their 3rd fanmeet 'ARMY.ZIP' this weekend. During the first show on the 12th, V revealed to his fans why he had been so down and listless lately. His grandmother had passed away while BTS was in Philippines. It was also the reason why he mentioned his grandmother during one of their 1st place speeches, but he teared up explaining that she had passed away before she could see it.

The other members also showed tears while V spoke, and embraced V after his revelation. Our condolences go to V and his family.

I remember the day my grandmother died I had to go to school and it was like the worst day ever.. I can't believe how strong he is for being able to go through promotions while it's so fresh and new:'(

I feel so terrible.. but I can't help feeling thankful to harmeoni. She helped raising such wonderful innocent and pure child who bring some happiness to millions of people on a daily basis... I'm also proud of her that she was able to parent a child this well. She lived a a long and beautiful life and now we have to say goodbye. Harmeoni.. Thank you for everything so far. Well lived, and Rest In Peace. We will take care of your sweet taehyungie, and protect him and his closest. :)

R.I.P <3 Stay Strong

geeky_demon Sunday, November 13, 2016

I saw that this happened and I couldn't help but feel upset. He hadn't cried for a month and he let it all out now because of people bashing him. We shouldn't bash anyone really because we don't know what they're going through. I wish that he would keep smiling and should know he makes us and everyone else happy. Stay Strong Taehyung. He has his members, fans and so on. The way Jungkook cried for him as if he was feeling the pain too broke my heart and the way the members listened and comforted him. The way we, as fans protect and respect him is great, You have a lot of people Tae. Keep smiling but don't be afraid to let it out :)

Hearing this, I can't help but think about my own grandmothers. My dad's mom passed away in 2008 and I never actually had a chance to know her. Regret piled up in my heart. I only spoke to her once on the phone and even then, I could hear worry in her voice. She lived far away in a violent country with political corruption and had a hard life. I'm very close to my other grandmother and want to cherish her more. When she sings happy birthday to me every year, I cry. She tells me she won't be alive when I get married. It's heartbreaking. She got surgery for cancer a few times recently, she's tough. We will always support & comfort you through difficult times, Tae. You may feel like a tornado within, but you are strong and your grandmother would be proud.

Tae I understand your pain well. I lost my dad's mom many years ago when I was about 7 or 8. I have moved on, but, my heart still hurts when I think about her. With time your wounds will heal though. Just remember the happy memories you had with your grandmother and treasure them. And to all his family I am sorry for your loss. From an American BTS fan.
