Solo artist Shannon is going to be on TV soon!

On November 21, her agency MBK Entertainment stated, "Shannon recently finished the recording for her appearance in 'K-Pop Star 6.'"

She will be judged by her abilities before the panelists Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park, and Yoo Hee Yeol!  That's crazy!  The results are not yet revealed, of course.

Regarding why she wanted to go on the show, it was revealed she really wanted to learn. The agency said, "Shannon took part in the audition because she wanted to learn more about singing."

It seems a little unfair that they let debuted idols come on since they are already under an agency. But if that's the rule, then I guess it's the rule. I'm curious as to why her agency let her join. What if she wins, then does she leave their agency and join one of the big three???

I just watched the first episode and they actually want current trainees and debuted idols to come on. Minjoo from the ark is on there too.

Wow I mean if DIA did it so can she

She will never make it

So a kpop star is auditioning on kpop star whose contestants audition to be kpop stars? Ya, she shouldn't even be allowed to audition. It's not her fault, it's the shows fault, they should have just said no but they probably accepted her for ratings or something.

rainy_days_ahead kpoplover308 Monday, November 21, 2016

Probably because her company is shit who doesn't promote her properly. It's been two years since her debut and during this time she's been barely promoting.

kpoplover308 rainy_days_ahead Monday, November 21, 2016

doesn't change the fact that she's taking a spot of someone who hasn't even entered the kpop scene. Also she has a large fanbase who will vote for her. The fact that she's not popular because of poor management doesn't matter. Kpop star should have said no.

to light you up. That was the format of the show now. they accept trainees or already debuted person to join the show because this will be their last season.

kpoplover308 KrystaL_JunG_24 Friday, November 25, 2016

interesting, but at the live shows doesn't the public still vote. And if so, I don't think it is fair to the people who don't already have a fanbase. If this is so, I think the format is flawed.

Nope. The judges still judge them. The voting system starts from top 10 and it is not all from voting points. Did you watch it ?

kpoplover308 KrystaL_JunG_24 Saturday, November 26, 2016

When I said live shows, I meant top 10. And even if it's not all from voting, voting is still a big factor.
