Korea University

The start of Korea University's International Winter Program comes nearer and thank you for all theapplicants! More than 2,500 students have already applied, setting a new record!

For everyone who is still considering to join KU IWC, can you picture what will happen once you arefinally in Korea? Here's a scenario that shows just how much fun you can have this winter in Korea!

Let's check out how the program will be running.

1. Arrival

Welcome to Seoul, Korea! The winter in Korea is quite cold, but the passion for this program will keep you warm.

In order to best accommodate our students, KU IWC will run free shuttle buses (during 4 times a dayon 12/26, 12/27, 1/17, 1/18) that start at the Incheon Airport and stop at university dorms.

2. Dorm Check-in

Check in proceeds 2 days before the program.

Session 1: From 9am, 12/26, 12/27

Session 2: From 9am, 1/17, 1/18

There will be teachers and staff members helping you with all the matters you need for check-in.

3. Orientation

On your first day of your sessions which is on December 28 (Session 1) and January 19 (Session 2),the orientation will proceed. All the IWC staff members will meet all of you and give you an orientationfrom A to Z. Plus, we will introduce our Instagram event which we've prepared for quite a long time, soplease join.

4. Program

2016 KU IWC will embrace a global student body by offering the program for both international students and domestic Korean students. Every student achieves academic credits through session 1 and / or session 2 (each session is composed of 3 weeks). Students have the option to take either one or both sessions.

Along with the academic opportunities, like the KU Summer program, there will be plenty of opportunities to attend fabulous events such as Korean cooking lessonsand calligraphy. KU IWC also will provide chances to experience Korean culture outside of the classroom including a fun ski trip as a seasonal activity. KU IWC will provide not only those one-day field trips but also general education classes such as Korean language classes and Taekwondo classes in order to deepen your understanding of Korea. Of course, KU student volunteers will help to guide you through the whole experience!

5. Graduation

Everything that has a beginning, has an ending. You had so much fun and time has flown by so fast, I know you're sad that it's already theend of the program. For the farewell event, we will prepare avariety of events such as testimony, throwing graduation caps, and hand out awards to the Instagram event winners.

There are a lot more winter programs that you can participate in that weren't covered here, you can check them out here:
