CL and her staff seem to have recognized her mistake.

CL had gone under fire after using the unedited "MTBD" track during her Los Angeles show during her "Hello Bi+ches" tour in USA. When she released her solo track "MTBD" back in 2014, the song had become highly controversial when Muslims noticed that the background track sounded very much like a reading of a verse from the Quran. As the Quran is the central text of Islam, Muslims protested that it is extremely offensive and it should not be made light of by being put in a song or used for entertainment purposes of any form.

The Korea Muslim Federation had raised a formal complaint, and YG Entertainment had ultimately decided to take out the controversial part of the song out. However, the unedited track somehow made its way into her setlist during the Los Angeles show.

While she has not issued an explanation or made an apology, she and her staff did correct the issue right away. For her Dallas show (held just a few hours ago), she performed the edited "MTBD" track.

[Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

I like this pick of CL in the thumbnail. She looks more youthful compared to her usual look

hanjivara Monday, November 7, 2016

1st time she and her YG did not apologize we pass it because we thought she didn't know it was wrong, but now ? aren't they really not going to apologize and act like they did nothing wrong ???

nami_chan Monday, November 7, 2016

at least write sorry, it was a mistake of the stuff or whatever but say sorry 'cause I don't think change the version will stop people of bashing her for that..

nami_chan Monday, November 7, 2016

well at least she listened and stopped using it , that's a step I think

CherryTokki Monday, November 7, 2016

There you go, they changed it. All is well with the world. Now let's move on.

Tomochi Monday, November 7, 2016

Song was made in Korea, right? The fact that it went with her all the way to the US is just... Anyway, I'm glad they used the other version and I hope they never used that one again this is the second time already.

It was on only ONE show plus she changed it asap

I hope that she's working on a real long ass meaningful apology right now. If she refuses to apologize, man I'll be so disappointed. At that point i just don't even have the desire to stop her fans from turning against her and calling her arrogant

iisstf28 heykoko Monday, November 7, 2016

.she apologized, not long, not meaningful but she did...

heykoko iisstf28 Monday, November 7, 2016

*sigh* I know her apology is short and a lot of people aren't very approving of it, but I truly think she understands what happened was wrong. idk, could just be my wishful thinking as a fan as well
