Former girl group member (24) is facing penalties for illegal possession and use of marijuana.

In January of 2016, A was arrested for planting marijuana in a flower pot at her house located in Gangnam. Her case was sent to court, and it was also revealed that A has smoked marijuana last December and April of this year. As a result, the court demanded A to pay a fine of 3,000,000 KRW (approximately $2,639 USD).

However, a more severe penalty was ordered by the appeals court as her initial penalty of a fine was considered too light. A is now sentenced 6-month penal servitude, 1-year probation, and 80 hours of community service.

Meanwhile, A is revealed to have debuted as the vocalist of a 6-member band, and after departing from the band, she returned as a member of a girl group in 2015.

How did they find the she was growing marijuana in her house and that she smoked it?! People usually don't do that publicly. Unless they breached her personal privacy.

joyyeri Ryo69 Monday, October 24, 2016

I think it's still against the law to grow it

Ryo69 joyyeri Monday, October 24, 2016

I know it's illegal, but how did they find?! She wouldn't grow publicly!

joyyeri Ryo69 Tuesday, October 25, 2016

Oh sorry I misunderstood it. You're right. Maybe someone told the police, but still the permission to invade her house wouldn't be given easily o_O

sejung_wang Saturday, October 22, 2016
