YG Entertainment's brand new girl group recently unveiled "BOOMBAYAH" and "Whistle" from their debut single album 'Square One', gaining tremendous attention worldwide. However, the rookie group seems to be gaining negative feedback from many Red Velvet fans for the supposed similarities between the "Whistle" MV and Red Velvet's MVs for "Dumb Dumb", "One of These Nights", and "Automatic".

As you can see in the captures below, fans online claimed that the angles and the props used for Black Pink's MV are too similar to Red Velvet's MVs. Angered fans are going as far as calling Black Pink 'Plagiarism Pink'. Some netizens seem to agree, commenting, "So I wasn't the only one who thought of Red Velvet when watching Black Pink's MV..", "Yeah I see a lot of similarities too", "It reminded me of Red Velvet and EXO's MVs", etc.
On the other hand, some stated, "It reminded me of 2NE1. Not so much Red Velvet", "Calling it plagiarism is too far", "It's not even that similar when you actually watch the whole thing", and more.
