As usual, 'SMTM 5' had left off on a cliffhanger on last week's episode, forcing the viewers to wait another week before revealing which rapper BewhY pegged as his semi-final opponent.
On the July 8 episode of 'SMTM 5,' everyone was expecting for BewhY to target C Jamm, the other promising contender for the winning spot, who happens to be BewhY's good friend and fellow $exy $treet label mate. However, unlike what everyone predicted, BewhY's singled out Hi-Lite's Reddy. KUSH, dumbfounded by this unexpected outcome, relayed, "I was flustered because it was different from what I imagined. I had hoped that BewhY would go up against Xitsuh."
So the final semi-final lineup is as such: BewhY vs. Reddy, Superbee vs. Xitsuh, and C Jamm vs. #Gun.
