MBC every1's 'Video Star' is under fire for their comments to NU'EST's Ren.
On the show, Ren was introduced as the 'pretty boy prettier than women'. However, the script went on to say, "With this kind of face, he should be popular, but..." The show proceeded to say he "didn't do justice to his face", and that he was "like air because no one acknowledges his presence". They added that NU'EST had debuted at the same time with EXO and BTOB but were 'old rookies' because they couldn't get a good footing.

The comments infuriated NU'EST fans, who couldn't believe 'Video Star' had said the hurtful words when Ren was right there.
