On the July 26th episode of 'Taxi', Choi Kang Hee revealed, "It's very difficult to find someone with matching bone marrow. In this case, it'd been 10 years since there was a match, so I thought that I must do it." She added happily, "From what I heard, there were two leukemia patients in the household. The older brother matched with their dad, and the younger sibling matched with me. They were both able to live."

As for what she's been up to lately, the actress commented, "My contract with my company ended, so I'm spending time solo. I want to work, but it doesn't happen the way I want. When I'm picking projects, I take breaks in between. I want to do summer work, but I always end up working in winter."

How good of her!

She's so kind and brave. It seem pretty scary when they take bone marrow. This huge tube needle thing. I don't understand how leukaemia work. So as long as you can find someone else that matches you and receive donation you get all better? Or does it just delay your death by a little.

That's brave of her. Harvesting bone marrow hurts that's why it's not something people not related to you, donates out of kindness. I'm all out for people who does something for a total stranger.

Wow, that's so nice of her!! It's very difficult to find someone's bone marrow who match with the patient.. And a lot of people are not willing to give it to stranger. She really did a good thing!!

This really hits a nerve with me because I find it so inspiring when strangers are willing to help others in this way.  The man I loved that died of leukemia had no siblings and no matches. The hospital (Standford) was working on an experimental program at that time with parental partial matches.  Since his mom was sick, I looked for his biological dad that had abandoned him as a child. I found him. HE REFUSED to even get tested.  In the end it didn't matter because he died and would have never made it to the transplant.  But my blood still boils today.  My love had two of his dad paintings in his house (evil dad is an artist). To his dad his paintings were more important than anything else.  Since his mom couldn't handle the clean up after his death I did it, and DESTROYED those two paintings.  I wanted to send them to him in the mail but his mom wouldn't allow it.  I never heard from him again.
