The actress first gave insight into her new role as she said, "So far I've played a lot of characters that were bright and brave. This time I wanted to show more realistic, 'human-like' acting. So I am also curious to see how my character, who is borderline doctor and human, will be portrayed."

As for her Hallyu stardom, she commented, "I try to appreciate and treasure each and every moment. Since there are a lot of people who have loved me for the things I've done so far, I think I will be able to maintain it if I healthily live with effort for the 'present' time."
