She was a guest on SHINee's Jonghyun's radio show 'Blue Night', and he said, "When we talk about Younha, I don't think we can leave out honesty. You're very honest. I think fans would know that, and people who'd listened to Youha's radio must feel the same. When a celebrity DJ talks about themselves, they can say something that could penalize them, but you talk about yourself without reservations. Is this just how you're normally are?"

She responded, "I don't think I see myself as a celebrity. I don't really know what a celebrity is, and I just think that I'm a person that lives, that sings, and sometimes comes on broadcast. I'm close to Jonghyun, but I get the feeling that Jonghyun is very much a celebrity. It's not a way you act, but it's just how I feel when I see you."
Later, she said, "I think I'm at a period where I'm certain of myself. I recently ended a long term relationship. This may not be something I should talk about and people may think I'm being too honest, but that's how it is. After that, I had a few months where I had a hard time, but after that, I felt like I was myself. I felt like the main focus of myself was me, so I think that might be focused on how I look, as well."
