Actress Moon Geun Young was revealed to have donated money for about thirteen years to the patients of childhood cancer and rare incurable diseases! �This information was discovered when her name appeared on the list of Honor Society members on the homepage of Community Chest of Korea's Pledge of Love on January 22.

Her agency, Namoo Actors, stated, "As donations are something that are done in private, the agency did not know about it, either. �It is a kind deed, but she had not wanted this to be publicized so it was something she had done consistently in silence."

Since 2003, she had donated generous amounts of money consistently through Pledge of Love, amounting to a total of 900 million KRW (~ $740,000 USD). �

A rep from Pledge of Love stated, "Moon Geun Young is one of the largest contributors who has consistently made donations. �Although she had donated anonymously, the faces of the members of the Honor Society have been revealed since 2015. �Moon Geun Young's constant donations have become well known, and we would like for it to contribute to the formation of a developed culture of donation in our society."
