ZEST member A has been found innocent of rape charges made against him earlier this year.
This past March, it was revealed that a former idol had accused a ZEST member of rape, but the accusations have been found to be false. The female former idol in question, Miss Son (24), and her friend, Miss Moon (34) who helped spread the rumor on social media, have both been charged with defamation of character.
Miss Son previously claimed that she and the ZEST member dated and he later sexually assaulted her. Though it was found that the two were in a relationship, there was no evidence of the rape in question. They are said to have broken up due to their respective schedules.
Zenith Star Entertainment previously stated, "It's true that the two met last year. However, [Miss Son] suddenly sued for rape after they stopped seeing each other. She is saying that she is the victim. It is an absurd situation for us."
