Jang Yoon Jung
As the legal battle between Jang Yoon Jung and her brother, Jang Kyung Young, is waging, MBN Star reported on November 23 that the law firm in charge of representing Jang Kyung Young has submitted their resignation form to the court. According to the media outlet, "Suro, the law firm that's in charge of representing the 320 million KRW (~$275,936 USD) lawsuit of Jang Kyung Young against Jang Yoon Jung, has submitted its resignation form at court." The news of the law firm's resignation from the case comes three weeks before the first plea date for each side's appeal. Suro has also confirmed the resignation but did not reveal the details behind it.

Last March, Jang Yoon Jung had submitted an injunction in court to get back the money her brother Jang Kyung Young borrowed from her. Jang Yoon Jung claimed that her brother had borrowed 500 million KRW (~$431,355 USD) from her under the pretext of investing the money, but had only paid back 180 million KRW (~$155,246 USD) of the principal and failed to repay the rest. However, Jang Kyung Young rebutted that the money he had borrowed from his sister didn't exceed 130 million KRW (~$112,122 USD) and the remaining 350 million KRW (~$301,868 USD) he borrowed from their mother, Yuk Heung Bok

During the first trial, the courts ruled in favor of the plaintiff, ordering for Jang Kyung Young to return 320 million KRW to his sister. At the ruling, Jang Kyung Young had promptly submitted an appeal.
