1997ers 15&'s Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin and TWICE's Jihyo have chosen to pass on trying to get accepted into university this year.
A representative explained, "In order to focus more on singing activities, they've come to this decision. As they will be in the midst of promotions, even if they began university, they wouldn't be able to properly attend classes, and we thought they would be a disturbance to other students."
GOT7's Yugyeom on the other hand, will be applying to take the college entrance exam. It hasn't been confirmed yet whether he will officially enter university after taking the exam.
The college exam takes place across the country on November 12 in Korea, and many 1997ers will be taking the test.

In Korea, celebrities choosing not to enter college can initially be frowned upon, as like many other countries, education is considered very important there. What are your thoughts?
