We were so happy for Soyu and Kwon Jung Yeol when they won the first place trophy on 'M! Countdown' for "Lean On Me". But fans might have also noticed that Soyu was crying when the duo were announced as the winners. The two also didn't have a winning speech but went straight to encore.
Of course, many singers have been known to cry when they win first place, especially if its for the first time. But it was surprising that the typically chic Soyu was crying, when she has won first place so many times with SISTAR and her numerous duets.
Starship Entertainment's representative explained, "Soyu recently injured her waist and she wasn't in a good condition. Even though she was hurting a lot, she performed on stage, and when they won first place, it seems she had an even bigger sense of gratitude."
Soyu also posted on SISTAR's Twitter with the caption, "A proof-shot with Kwon Jung Yeol oppa! I didn't even think of getting first place so I wasn't even able to say thank you. Even if I don't say it, you know I'm always thankful, right? Thank you! In this rainy day, keep your shoulders up and stay warm!"
