Boys Republic's Sunwoo joined the press conference for web drama 'Alchemist' on October 1.
He said, "I don't date because I'm an idol. I almost have no memories [of dating] even though I'm 24. I want to say that it would have been nice if I had lived doing everything I wanted to do in this time."

In the drama, he plays 'motae solo' outsider, Kim Young Il, who wears a hood and horn-rimmed glasses. He stated, "The personality of character Kim Young Il is not completely the antithesis of mine. Although I'm not like this anymore, when I was young, I liked being alone and even liked to eat alone. I felt like I was becoming Young Il when I wore a hood and glasses for acting. Also, the actors took good care of me so I was able to act in a good mood."
