T-ara's Jiyeonisconfirmed for an upcoming Korean-Chinese co-produced film 'Encounter' and will be making her way to China on May 7.
A rep from MBK Entertainment commented, "Jiyeon will be appearing in Korean-Chinese co-production film 'Encounter.' She will be leaving for China on May 7 for filming."

According to the reports, veteran actor Lee Dong Gun, who appeared in several hit dramas and movies, is in talks to appear in the film opposite Jiyeon. The actor's management agency FNC Entertainment revealed that there are still things that they need to arrange, but are positively reviewing his appearance.
'Encounter' is a film that will recount the romance that develops on a cruise including Barcelona, Spain and the Indian Ocean as the backdrops. The film is set to premiere in China in October.
