On April 13, prosecutors demanded five years of imprisonment for singer Bumkey, who has been accused of allegedly distributing and using ecstasy and philopon.
At the 8th trial, the prosecutor demanded Bumkey be sentenced to five years in prison and pay a fine of 570 million won (approximately $520,000 USD) after relaying the evidence gathered during the trial from witnesses who claimed that they bought ecstasy and philopon from Bumkey.
However, Bumkey and his representatives continued to say that he is not guilty of the alleged crimes and provided alibi along with specific details in regards to his innocence.
Meanwhile, the result of Bumkey's trial will be revealed on April 20.
