Apparently the news of HaHa and Byul's sudden marriage announcement a few years ago wasn't received well by everyone! According to Yoo Jae Suk, fellow 'Running Man' cast member Kim Jong Kook seemed to be actually angered when he first heard of their engagement!

On the March 19 broadcast of KBS's 'Happy Together', Byul talked about registering for marriage with HaHa only six months after she started dating him. When asked why they moved so quickly, Byul explains in the clip above at the 0:30 mark, "I was 30-years-old back then and it's not a young age. I was sure that I wanted to be with this man, so I didn't feel it was necessary to drag things out because that time would be a waste. I just wanted to marry him right away." 

Park Myung Soo then nudges Yoo Jae Suk to share a funny story regarding the couple, to which Yoo Jae Suk complies and says, "I went to HaHa's father's 70th birthday and only a couple of close friends were invited, such as Kim Jong Kook and Lee Kwang Soo." He continues, "I went to the restaurant and Byul was there. I didn't know [they were dating], and since it was a gathering for close friends only I was surprised she was there."

According to Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa then announced their marriage right then and there. Yoo Jae Suk says in the clip, "I was surprised, but Kim Jong Kook was even funnier, I still don't understand why he reacted that way," before imitating Kim Jong Kook putting down his spoon angrily and glaring fiercely. He continues to say that he couldn't understand Kim Jong Kook's sudden anger, considering that it wasn't like Byul was even his girlfriend! Byul also laughs as she nods remembering the 'Running Man' 'Tiger's reaction.

Yoo Jae Suk continues, "What's even funnier than that is that the father did not come. It wasn't a celebration for a marriage announcement but for HaHa's father's 70th birthday, but because something came up, the father couldn't come even though it was his birthday event. It was the strangest 70th birthday party." 

Kim Jong Kook once mention in a past interview that he had felt slightly betrayed about Haha's sudden marriage announcement, so maybe HaHa violated some bro code and Kim Jong Kook was mad HaHa didn't tell him sooner?
