Jiyoung reported to make her official acting debut in Japan through drama remake of 'Jigoku Sensei Nube'

Japanese media outlet Oricon Style reported on the 4th, "Jiyoung will play the role of Yukime in the upcoming Japanese TV drama 'Jigoku Sensei Nube' which will air in October."

The former idol member shared, "Because I've had interest in Japanese ghost stories since I was little, I had a lot of fun reading the original work. I think that Yukime's determination when starting something is similar to mine... I will work hard for the character to receive love."

Jiyoung was previously reported to have signed with Japanese entertainment agency�Sweet Power,�and is�scheduled to attend the '19th Tokyo Girls Collection' fashion show in Saitama Super Arena on September 6. She also completed a 2015 calendar photoshoot to be released early October.
