Singer Kim Chas been belatedly revealed to have divorced his wife last year.
Kim C's friend told Ilgan Sports, "After Kim C had his scandal last year, he and his wife had a divorce through mutual agreement." His label also confirmed, "It's true they finished all legal procedures. They finished last year, but we don't know the exact divorce period. Kim C usually doesn't talk about his private life, so there weren't many rumors, and we just never really revealed it, either."

Kim C had married his wife in 2000, and they have a son and a daughter. His ex-wife will be taking care of the children. The pair were already rumored to be living separately last year in March.
His friend said, "They didn't have much friction on who would raise the children or on their assets, so they were able to have an easy divorce."
