It looks like the talks went through as tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'High School King' is confirmed to have been extended by two episodes.
A rep from CJ E&M stated, "'High School King' has been extended by 2 episodes. One episode will be a regular continuation of the drama, while the second will be a special episode. We are still discussing the details of what will be aired as the special broadcast."
'High School King' was originally scheduled for a 16-episode run, but the huge popularity among viewers caused producers to decide on additions to the series. The finale is now set for August 12.
