His agency Starship Entertainment rep stated on the 4th, "Boyfriend member Jeongmin was diagnosed with an ankle ligament injury on the 3rd and we are currently waiting for more detailed [medical] examination results. We are very flustered and sorry to the fans for this happening right before their comeback."
It's said that despite the ankle sprain, Jeongmin is determined to participate in all the comeback activities. However his agency revealed that they will have to look over his condition before the final decision is made; "Boyfriend recorded their song and made adjustments to their choreography multiple times for their domestic comeback throughout the past year and five months, and we are fully ready. Although we respect Jeongmin's wishes, we will consider all of the circumstances and make our final decision."
Boyfriend will make their domestic comeback in one year and five months with their second mini album 'Obsession' and perform their first comeback stage on 'M! Countdown' on the 5th. They will also hold a comeback showcase at AX Korea on the 9th to coincide the release.
