Recently, many well-known female celebrities had to speak up against widespread rumors suggesting their involvement in the prostitution scandal.  Various media outlets had claimed that the female celebrities were top stars while alleged lists of the thirty celebrities under investigation have been circulating the internet.

However, on December 18, SBS's 'One Night of TV Entertainment' talked to two different reporters who revealed that the media has failed to mention some key parts of the story.

One reporter said, "According to what I know, the majority of the women involved in this prostitution case are aspiring singers and actresses.  They are not stars, but rather ordinary people who got implicated in this case, but [these reports] are believably calling them celebrities."

Another reporter said that it was a shame that people were focusing on the list of thirty names rather than the men involved as customers in the prostitution ring.
