Girls' Generation's Yuri revealed the reasons for participating in the movie.  She said, "It was a lively and refreshing genre that I found charming."

In relation to her character, who dreams of becoming a singer, Yuri said, "Seeing Jung Eun pursue her dreams was like seeing myself during my training period so I felt a sense of kinship that made me like the character."
