It seems Kim Bum Soo used his hiatus following his recent injury to correct a previous double eyelid surgery.
On the August 13th broadcast of KBS COOL FM's 'Kim Bum Soo's Gayo Plaza', Kim Bum Soo shared, "I got corrective double eyelid surgery to repair my (droopy eyelids). There are still two weeks left until the swelling goes away, but I unveiled my eyes beforehand."
He went on, "In the early days of my debut, I got double eyelid surgery because of my agency CEO's suggestion," explaining that he thought long and hard about having another surgery.
