Following the abolishment of the celebrity recruit unit, army musical 'The Promise's upcoming dates scheduled for next month have been canceled.
Although the celebrity recruits have been dispersed into other units, those who starred in the musical like Leeteuk, Kim Moo Yeol, Kim Ho Young, and more, were still eligible to continue acting in the musical.
However, with the negative image surrounding the celebrity recruit unit, the Ministry of Defense decided it was best not to ask them to continue with the show. So, with the musical now lacking their star force with acting experience and the show's future looking bleak, the upcoming dates have been canceled altogether.
