JYP Entertainment revealed that they don't know any details on Sun leaving to Haiti as a missionary.
After Sun's plan to leave for Haiti 6 months after her birth was revealed, media outlet My Daily reached out to JYP Entertainment for more information. However, they weren't able to shed much more light onto Sun's plans, as they said, "Sun already said that she'd be focusing on her married life after her marriage. We believed that her missionary work was a part of that, so we didn't ask about it in detail. We don't know much about it ourselves."
They added, "We don't think Sun has to talk about her private matters, and she chose the path for herself. As we said before, Sun will be focusing on her marriage, and the other Wonder Girls members will be focusing on their individual promotions."
