During their ceremony, Girl's Day posed with the Army Chief of Staff who congratulated each of the new idol ambassadors with a beret and a sash. Girl's Day also performed four of their hit songs including their latest single, "Female President", in front of 800 fans to celebrate their ambassadorship.
Girl's Day shared, "We are happy to be appointed as the ambassadors for South Korea's biggest festival, the '2013 Ground Forces Festival'. We will help the military to get closer with citizens."
As ambassadors, Girl's Day will fulfill their duty to cheer on soldiers by performing the congratulatory stage for the '2013 Ground Forces Festival' at Gyeryong, Chungcheongnamdo from October 2-6.
