Former Jewelry leader turned�actress Park Jung Ah is recovering from�thyroid cancer, but her agency has assured fans that she is doing well.
Her new agency WM Company revealed, "Park Jung Ah was receiving a health checkup when she was diagnosed with an early stage of thyroid cancer and underwent surgery earlier this month. It wasn't a big tumor. She was recently released from the hospital and is now recovering in her home."
The actress also announced on the 10th that she has left her agency of 14 years, Star Empire Entertainment, and has found a new home at�WM Company. Following her move, Park Jung Ah has been quick to advance into the overseas market and has already been cast in the Chinese dramas 'Popcorn' and 'Women Who Wear Uniforms'. Park Jung Ah will begin filming the two dramas starting mid-June.
