2PM's Taecyeon cast in the romantic comedy film 'The Night Before the Wedding'

2PM's Taecyeon has been cast in his first movie role! The idol will be making his film debut in a romantic comedy.

The 'beastly' singer will play Won Chul, a capable chef engaged to Lee Yeon Hee's character, in 'The Night Before the Wedding'. Although he has starred in the dramas 'Dream High' and 'Cinderella's Sister', this will be his first time featuring in a movie.

The film will be directed by Hong Ji Young, who debuted with 'Kitchen' in 2009. The movie's plot centers around four couples and the struggles they face the week leading up to their wedding.

Besides Taecyeon, others to star in the film include Lee Yeon Hee, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Hyo Jin, Joo Ji Hoon, Ma Dong Suk, Lee Hee Joon, and�Go Jun Hee.� It's slated for release later this year.
