Lee Hi's music has been appealing to an older demographic.
The sixteen-year-old singer is currently #1 on music charts with "1, 2, 3, 4" for the 17th day in a row. Apparently, her soulful voice appealed the most to listeners in their 30s and 40s.
Music portal site Bugs researched Lee Hi's popularity among age groups through music downloads and streaming frequency. They found that 31% of the downloads were by listeners in their 30s and 24% were by those in their 40s.
For the last 13 days, 36% of listeners have been teens and people in their 20s, 6% in their 50s and 60s, and 3% in the outer ranges.
