June 10th's broadcast of SBS' 'Running Man' featured a zombie race, where the running man members competed against zombies. During the race, the Gary look alike from the history textbook was once again shown.
The episode showed Gary as a 'zombie since birth', and at the end, they showed the picture of the Gary look alike, taken 100 years ago from a textbook.
The picture became a hot issue as the producers of 'Running Man' used it to humor the viewers by inserting the caption, "The zombie also lived 100 years ago."
After seeing Gary's historical picture, netizens commented, "Gary's history textbook is funny the second time around too", "Living for 100 years is not a zombie, it's a vampire", and "It's surprising that Gary appears in a history textbook too."
