BoA reveals the reason for her short stature

Singer BoA captured the viewers' attention after revealing her beliefs on the reason for her short stature.

On the May 29th broadcast of KBS2's 'Win Win', MC Tak Jae Hoon asked the singer if she had ever been reprimanded as a trainee.

"They told me to lose weight a lot," she said. "It wasn't fat; it was baby fat. When you're in junior high, you're supposed to eat a lot and grow, so it's only natural that I didn't grow because they told me to lose weight."

"I think I'm going to be grieving about this for the rest of my life," she added.

The emcees then agreed with her saying, "Junior high is a time for you to be develop and grow, not a time to lose weight."
