4minute's Jiyoon is reported to have gone on singing live despite suffering a cold.
The 4minute member has been making visits to the hospital during the past two days for her severe cold symptoms. However, in all of her performances, including KBS's 'Music Bank' performance on April 20th, Jiyoon has been hitting her high notes without relying on lip-syncing.
Jiyoon is in charge of singing the highest notes in "Volume Up".�While many idol groups rely heavily on the instrumental accompaniment during difficult portions of songs, Jiyoon has been singing her parts live 100% ever since 4minute's first performance.
During an interview with OSEN on April 20th, Jiyoon stated, "My throat is in really poor condition. However, I am trying my best to demonstrate powerful vocals during our performances."
