Lee Hongki offered a starring role in a movie

Recently, an entertainment associate told OSEN that "F.T. Island's Lee Hongki was offered a starring role for a rock band movie."

And continued to say, "The movie he was offered a role in will tell the story of a once famous band, and will be directed by Nam Taec Su. From what I know, this movie will be released not only in Korea but in Japan also."

Lee Hongki's agency confirmed that the star had indeed received the offer, stating, "It's true Lee Hongki received the offer for the movie, but due to schedule conflicts, it seems it'll be difficult for him to accept due to his busy schedule."

Hongki has been in various dramas already, including the very famous SBS's 'You're Beautiful', and had fans anticipating his next role. It's a shame that he may have to turn down this role, but hopefully we'll see him back as an actor once more in the near future!
