FT Island's lead vocal Lee Hongki expressed his regret over his inability to be victorious on KBS 2TV's game show '1 vs 100'.
Hongki wrote via his Twitter page on February 28th, "Did you watch '1 vs 100'? Wasn't it Daebak? So close."
"Ahh, I'm still thinking about 1 vs 100," he continued. "I want to go on again sometime."
And as 'Lee Hongki 1 vs 100' became the most-searched topic on portal sites during the program's broadcast he said, "All of you viewers are surprised too, right? The searched topic comes up in real time."
On the episode, Lee Hongki advanced to the eighth round and competed one on one with another contestant. Unfortunately, Hongki got the question wrong and the $8,000 prize went to the other contestant who answered it correctly.
Netizens who watched the program remarked, "Still amazing that you went one on one", "It was a hard question", "I was really surprised. You were really good!", and "You will win next time."
In related news, Hongki and the rest of his FT Island members won the Mutizen Song Award with "Severely" on SBS TV 'Inkigayo' on February 26th.
