Wonder Girls appointed as publicity ambassadors for 2013 Pyeongchang Special Olympics Winter Games

The Wonder Girls have been appointed as the publicity ambassadors for the '2013 Pyeongchang Special Olympics Winter Games'. On December 14th, the girls attended a ceremonial event at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan, Seoul, where they were presented with appointment certificates from a former congresswoman. The Wonder Girls previously participated in the 2011 Special Olympics as performers during the closing ceremony in Athens. They performed in front of a 50,000 member audience, and were praised by press back home for their efforts to help spread Korean culture overseas.
