Lee Hyori to hold a fan signing event to promote her 2012 charity calendar

On December 22nd, Lee Hyori will be holding a fan signing event for her 2012 calendar to spend a warm year end with her fans. Hyori will be personally there with her sleeves up to aid and promote the sale of her calendars, as all proceeds from its sales will be donated directly to charities. The calendars are already a hit online, with phones ringing off the hook with fans inquiring about pre-orders. On her Twitter, she wrote, "It's not just a portion that will be donated, but everything. I'm going to keep my eyes open to make sure that none of it leaks into another pocket." The project was a personal idea that Hyori came up with to help people easily contribute their part to helping the cause of abandoned animals, especially for those that don't know where to start or where to donate.
