Big Hit Entertainment to establish an academy for new producers

Producer�Bang Shi Hyuk of Big Hit Entertainment has set out to discover new producers through the establishment of�Producer Academy of Big Hit Entertainment'. Earlier this month, two different academies were set up by�SM Entertainment and Cube Entertainment�for idol hopefuls; Bang Shi Hyuk's academy, therefore, marks the first school for producers specifically. On September 5th, Big Hit revealed, "We'll be establishing and running a school for training producers.� Producers in training will be able to express their musical tastes and work closely with others in the same field, in addition to holding friendly competition with their peers. It's meant to open a new generation in the industry of pop music." The academy will be open for all applicants; students will gain free access to state-of-the-art studios, equipment, and lessons. Bang Shi Hyuk added, "My goal is to provide an environment where we can discover talented producers and allow them to focus completely on their music.� I want to create a healthy music industry that has a variety of different genres co-existing together."
