Nine Muses recently returned to the music scene with "Figaro", their first release in a year, and revealed that they followed a strict training regimen in order to improve their vocal skills. On August 17th, the girls opened up with a showcase at the Hongdae V Hall and showed off a performance style more mature than their past. The music video revealed at the event featured vivid colored and black and white scenes reminiscent of the night spot of celebrities in the '70's, Studio 54. "We went through an intense training period for a year without any breaks," they revealed at a comeback showcase, which was held on August 17th. "We focused on building our vocal capacity by running up and down a nearby mountain." They added, "We will begin our comeback promotions with 7 members tomorrow and we will be working doubly hard to be recognized as singers. Please give us your attention and lots of love!" Their company, Star Empire, expressed anticipation over the resumption of Nine Muses' activities. "Through one year of intense training, Nine Muses will be able to show off their upgraded look, both in style and substance," they said. Check out the results of their vocal training through their new music video, which you can see here. Source: MyDaily via Nate
