Casting call: Mnet and allkpop are looking for a K-Pop VJ! No TV experience necessary!

Mnet in collaboration with allkpop are looking for a VJ for a two hour daily K-Pop TV show premiering on Mnet this fall! The show will be hosted by an English speaking VJ and will include the latest K-Pop music videos as well as K-Pop news and trends. All K-pop fans are welcome to participate, no prior TV experience necessary. But the ideal person must have the following qualities: Passion for K-Pop An extensive knowledge of the world of K-Pop! Fun and energetic Full of personality How to apply: Interested applicants must submit an audition video LESS THAN 5 minutes in length. You may upload the video to YouTube and send the link along with your name, age, address and day time telephone number to info@mnetamerica.com. Entries must be received by August 12, 2011. The audition video must include: An introduction: Name, age, the city where you live Reasons why you think you will make a good VJ for Mnet Who your favorite K Pop artists are A song/dance routine from your K-pop favorite artist Anything else you want to include to make yourself stand out Selected applicants will be invited to an in-person audition in Los Angeles on 8/20. 5 finalists' audition videos will be posted on allkpop for fans to vote for their favorite.�The final decision will be heavily influenced by fan's votes. The selected applicant will receive a contract as a Mnet VJ! If selected, applicant will need to be available to film at Mnet's Los Angeles Studios.
