Japan's esteemed star Fukuyama Masaharu & critic Chikada Haruo praise TVXQ

On February 19th, Fukuyama Masaharu, a popular Japanese actor/singer, praised TVXQ for their excellent dance performance skills and their powerful comeback track, "Keep Your Head Down." While talking about the choreography for his upcoming Asian tour, he mentioned, "The dances of our current generation are different from the moves in the past. TVXQ's new track is really amazing." His guest commented, "Even though TVXQ came back with two members, their energy is still extremely powerful." Fukuyama responded, "I think we should play a TVXQ song today, since they're so cool! I don't know what it means to dance well, but the more I see TVXQ's latest track, you can tell that there's discipline behind it. The Korean music video especially is very nice." Previously, TVXQ declared themselves as fans of the singer, with their favorite song being "Milk Tea". They'll definitely be delighted to know that one of their respected Japanese seniors looks upon them approvingly! Rock musician and music critic, Chikada Haruo, iswidely known in Japan for his harsh and blunt criticisms. But when it came to TVXQ, the critic actually provided some high praise about the duo's comeback through a column he wrote for a magazine. His column review stated:

"Their album jacket photos were artistic, and showed something that was previously unseen in the group. Because they came back as two members, I thought that they would present music similar to CHEMISTRY's(a popular Japanese duo), but I was surprised with the heavy sound used in the intro. Their voices also did not pale in comparison to the sounds. It's difficult for 'SF'-style music to succeed without giving weight to the feel of the song, but 'Keep Your Head Down' had no such awkwardness. What's amazing is that their pronunciations and the effects of their sounds mesh together well for the ears. There's also an added feeling of the unknown that gives the song a great balance. Unknowingly, I had the song on repeat. What I believe is so absolutely great is the part of the song after the second rap. The high speed feel with the combination of the vocals and mix can only be described as nothing short of perfect.
Although it's disappointing that the lyrics are about the breakup between a man and woman (and I don't know much about the stuff that's been going on), what I'm absolutely sure of is that downsizing the group was the solution." TVXQ's "Keep Your Head Down" was also voted as the most-loved song amongst Japanese music fans in a survey held by Oristar through the Oricon mobile site.
