As reported previously, the Wonder Girls are scheduled to perform at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas for the annual "Monster Retailer Awards and Concert" on January 7th. At first glance, the Wonder Girls are only an opening act for�Earth Wind & Fire; but�their performance is more substantial than it seems. While many of us have already guessed that JYP Entertainment was collaborating with Monster Cable, Monster made an official confirmation of the corporate 'alliance' through their website. Monster expressed that they were indeed embarking on "an alliance with global entertainment company JYP Entertainment and South Korean pop sensation the Wonder Girls." Indeed, the CEO of Monster, Noel Lee, personally noted that "JYP Entertainment is one of the world's most influential new taste makers of music and entertainment, and the Wonder Girls are fast becoming a true global pop phenomenon." Additionally, it was revealed that the girl group was the first ever international act for the event.
