KBS to air Lunar New Year celebrity marathon special

KBS will be airing a Lunar New Year special in the form of a celebrity marathon championship. A total of 100 celebrities will be taking part in this combination of gaming and marathon running over a 4.2km course. Out of the 100 participants, 60% are expected to be singers, while 40% are comprised of actors, gagmen, pro-gamers, and even Miss Koreas. The lineup includes DJ DOC, U-KISS, T-MAX, Norazo, SISTAR, SECRET, 4minute, Orange Caramel, Rainbow, Im Yo Hwan and many others. A representative of the program commented, "We added items to our program that will be both familiar and fun for the viewers.� The combination of the added marathon will definitely heighten the overall entertainment value of the special." With MBC holding their own Lunar New Year's special through an idol swimming championship, KBS mentioned that the point of their championship is not about winning, but rather predicting which celebrity would have the best luck this year.
